A passionate hairdresser with over 12 years of experience in the industry. I’m also the proud owner of Hairphoria - Previously Beyond the Fringe Redwood.
Over the years, Nikisha has built lasting relationships with her clients by listening, understanding their vision & delivering results they can trust. At Hairphoria, Nikisha and the team have created a welcoming space where everyone can relax, feel valued & leaving looking & feeling their best.

Second year apprentice
Gemma wanted to become a hairdresser because for as long as she can remember, having always had an interest in hair - whether it was changing the style or colour of her own hair or always being the first to jump at the opportunity of styling a friends.
I love making people feel good about themselves through hair. Whether it’s a rich brunette, extension transformation or fresh cut and foils. I’m all about creating a look you’ll love while making your appointment feel comfortable and fun. Follow along with my journey on becoming fully qualified.

Fourth year apprentice
Originally from South Africa, I moved to New Zealand in 2018 and recently made the move to Marlborough with my family - embracing the slower lifestyle and strong sense of community the region offers. As a fourth year apprentice and upcoming qualified hairdresser, I’m passionate about all aspects of hairdressing, especially precision cutting and creating soft, dimensional blondes with an effortless feel.
More than anything, I love helping people feel confident and cared for when they leave my chair. Creating genuine connections and a relaxed, welcoming experience is at the heart of what I do, and I’m always excited to continue growing creatively and technically within this ever-evolving industry.
